Spouse Support Group (SSG) Mission Statement:
The purpose of the SSG of the Navy/Marine Corps ROTC Unit is to provide opportunities for spouses and families of the NROTC Battalion to socialize and develop friendships, provide spouse training, and to foster family awareness in all of our future officers. Military related trainings and briefings, which assists spouses whose sponsors are transitioning to the officer ranks, will serve as a good model for a future family program in a department or platoon. Discussions on how to read an LES, how to prepare for and cope with deployments, handling various social environments, and Navy/Marine Corps history will serve all spouses well. The group will also facilitate referrals to help families meet their needs, and create a library of contacts in the community for future use. The SSG is not an official Ombudsman or Key Volunteer organization.

Moscow, Idaho and Pullman, Washington are only 8 miles apart. With Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington only 28 miles to the south they make up the "Quad Cities". Surrounded by some great cities and towns, Spokane is 75 miles to the north of Pullman on Highway 195, and Coeur D'Alene 85 miles north of Moscow on Highway 95. Where you can enjoy the water on the Beautiful Lakes Coeur D'Alene and Pend Oreille. Or you could head south, and enjoy the rugged scenery of the Snake River.
We have the Moscow/Pullman Regional Airport. Nonstop flights to and from Seattle and Lewiston daily.

Idaho Road Report- This webpage is dedicated to major us and state roadways within Idaho. The webpage contains construction reports, weather reports and traffic camera images. A clickable map of Idaho allowing you to select various regions and then view construction projects in current operation or those planned for the near future. There aren't very many webcams; those that exist aren't always useful (ie: Marsh Hill). Links to surrounding regions' road conditions can also be found here.

WSU Theatre and Music Lionel Hampton School of Music Fairchild AFB Recreation This site has a great wealth of resources for recreation opportunities. Information, Tickets and Travel (ITT) has low price tickets to local entertainment events as well as those in popular travel destinations. ITT also has a link to Airforce travel online, which is an offspring of Sato Vacations. The Outdoor Adventure Program has camping and skiing equipment and lift tickets that is available for rent for active duty and retired personel as well as their dependents. Mountain Home AFB Outdoor Adventure Program The site says that the equipment is open to active duty and retired personnel and their families attached to Mountain Home, but the information they have on the local area may be key. North Central Idaho Information This website has a veritable cornucopia of information concerning things to do, places to see, lodging to stay at and events to participate in. The activities listed include: outdoor recreation, site-seeing, history, arts and entertainment. Destinations include: the Clearwater region, the Lewis and Clark trail, and backcountry regions. Accomidations include: hotels, bed and breakfasts, and RV stations. The website's calendar includes a few December events around the greater Palouse metro region.
